Are You Still In Love…With Your Kitchen?

February 14, 2020 //  by admin

Valentine’s Day is all about the love – and as we all know, there are all kinds of love. Today, we’re going to talk about the romance you have with your kitchen. Are you living with your dream kitchen? Is it everything you’ve ever wanted?

Or have you been stuck in a rut, making do with a kitchen that really does nothing for you because everything else has always been more important?

Well, enough is enough. You deserve to have a kitchen that makes you happy. Taking care of a family is hard work. Meals have to happen every single day – and if you have teenagers, sometimes it feels like meals are happening every single hour – which means you need places to store food, places to make food, places for food to be eaten, and places for clean up to happen.

Your kitchen design decides how much you enjoy your kitchen. If your space is tiny, cramped, dark, or uncomfortable – it’s hard to fall in love. If you don’t have room for everything and it’s a production every time to get all the ingredients and gear you need together to make a meal – it’s hard to fall in love. If you’re living with the unfortunately ugly cabinetry, flooring, and appliance choices the previous owner made – it’s really hard to fall in love.

So go ahead. Give yourself permission to start planning your Milton kitchen remodel. Think about what it would take to make you fall in love with your kitchen. Whether that’s more space, better storage, or the double-oven you’ve been dreaming about, write it down. Start your Pinterest board. Articulating and organizing your vision is the first step in turning your dream kitchen into a reality. And at this time next year, when someone asks if you’re in love with your kitchen, you’ll be able to instantly and unequivocally say “YES!”
