The first thing that strikes you about Jay Filho is his innate shyness. However, Jay’s public reticence is a reflection of the quiet way he goes about his life and his profession. There is elegance in that stoicism. His gentle nature and unceasing work ethic was an easy fit at Masters Touch.
“Jay is exactly the type of employee anyone would want,” says company owner Doug Masters. “He really took to the first job he was assigned as a painter and he’s impressed me and his co-workers ever since.”
A native of Brazil, now living in Framingham with his wife Elaine and their three children, Yago, Alinne and Lucas, Jay finds contentment in family life.
“Everything revolves around my family,” he says. “I love to surf as well so we all spend time at the beach during the summer months.”
And he couldn’t be happier at Masters Touch.
“I made friends here very quickly,” he says with a smile. “And I want to prove my value to Doug and to everyone else. I love working here and plan on being here for a long time.”
With a passion for painting and desire to branch out into carpentry and increase his worth at Master Touch, Jay seems to have found a home.
“I came to this country to make a better life for my family. Now I have a great job and I couldn’t be happier.”
